Our Mission

We aim to establish as small co-living community based on the values of social, economical, and environmental sustainability. Our ambition at home is to facilitate connections within our community, while providing an inclusive and multicultural space. At work our goal is to create resilient gardens and regenerative fields.

Eleonora

Hi, I am Eleonora, or Lele. I have studied agronomy and agro-ecology, and now I am putting into practice my studies by taking care of gardens and small fields. I value genuine connections and nurturing relationships; my life principles are based on permaculture. If you are interested in knowing more about your garden and how nature works, I'd love to share what I know.

Sam

Hi, I’m Sam! I am British but I grew up in the Tuscan countryside. I have always had a passion for the natural world and building with my hands. Having broadened my knowledge and skill set after my studies and travels I decided to come back to what I know best and enjoy the most. I now dedicate my time to gardening, construction, woodwork and general handyman jobs.

Mattias

Ciao, I'm Mattias, I grew up in the nearby ecovillage Upacchi and I've always been interested in sustainability, planning events, collaborating with associations to organize activities and in general bringing people together. After exploring my passions around Europe for the last years, the global pandemic brought me back to this valley and I fell back in love with this land. Now starting from our new Home I would love to make it a place of meeting, education and reconnecting with nature.

Casa Le Mura

We acquired the property in 2021, but long before us this space has been used by the people of Anghiari. It was originally built in the 1600s, so it holds a lot of history. Once an important Vicar's house, nuns worked the land to produce food, the olive trees for oil, and the water reservoir to launder their clothes. Eventually it became a gathering place for locals to purchase their vegetables and host social events. This is a tradition we hope to continue today.

Our picturesque location is conveniently situated in Anghiari where you will find thriving nature and happy animals. We are immersed in our community and are pleased to connect you to our many valuable contacts. Our work is our passion, and it shows.

We are very lucky to have found an agronomist and horticulturalist who can help us to develop and maintain our gardens and lands in a way that is beautiful and delicious, biodiverse and ecologically sustainable in the face of the climate change in Tuscany.
