Let's Work Together

“If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” – African Proverb
We are always looking to grow our community and expand our contacts. If you would like to connect or collaborate feel free to contact us; below are some of the specific groups or individuals to which we are particularly open.

Co-Living Volunteer
In our home we have been hosting volunteers interested in working alongside of us and being part of our daily life. We offer a comfortable place to live and meals in exchange for roughly 25 hours of work a week. For more information, availability, and to apply please visit our profile on Workaway.

Associations
Any association working on promoting cultural, social and environmental sustainability is welcome to reach out for a potential partnership.

Farms and Agronomists
We are partial to those working in the Anghiari area, and those in the practice of organic or regenerative farming. Sometimes we are in need of more products for our local market, or we could benefit from the support of a more specialized agronomist for our outdoor projects. If you are an agronomist researching indigenous species of the area, we are highly interested in working together. To establish a network of sustainable farms and agricultural experts in Val Tiberina is a long-term goal.

Gardening and Landscaping Businesses
Edible Gardens needs to collaborate with professionals and businesses on bigger projects. In particular we are interested in people who have experience with landscaping and rendering software and familiarity and access to recent environmental data relating to the region.

Locals and Volunteers
Our doors are always open to locals interested in connecting with nature. When a good relationship is established, you are welcome to participate in the farming work at the house.

Schools
We are in the early stages for this project, and are not yet available for school visits. However, our plans for the future include inviting classrooms to our land to visit the garden and have a hands-on experience of sustainable farming practices. Please watch for further developments.
